| When it comes to safety, we understand, believe and practice this
philosophy ... “Do It Safely, or Not At All.”
Our Safety System …
Behavior Based Safety Training (BBST) is continual from the
moment an employee joins our workforce. Employees at ALL LEVELS of our organization are accountable
for loss prevention behavior. On the job site, workforce performance is guided by corporate, customer and
project-specific safety standards. Likewise, on-site safety monitoring is conducted, and documentation of
observations -- positive and negative -- is prepared. Immediate action is taken when any person
in the workforce is observed engaging in an unsafe act or is exhibiting an unsafe attitude.
What do customers want?
Unsurpassed service, quality and value! To do business with a company that understands their goals and
offers a higher degree of safety and performance. Our System is driven by an understanding that our ability
to consistently perform our services safely and without incident is directly related to the pro-active safe
behaviors of all of our workforce and supplier support partners.
Our objective is simple ... safety first!
Our ability to continue to do business with our customers and grow our business is critically tied to how
safely we perform our duties and deliver our services. Virtually all of the customers in the markets we serve
require their service providers to have a Safety Experience Rating of 1 or less. This requirement is a priority
for all of our business units from Engineering to Specialty Tank Cleaning. We are very committed to
achieving world-class safety performance and maintaining an environment that protects our most valuable
asset -- our people. Our objective is simple -- to have safe operations in everything we do, as safety
becomes second nature to us, and an intrinsic part of our culture.
Our safety system results in fewer injuries, reduced losses, greater costs efficiency, and increased
productivity. Every aspect of our System includes implementation of solutions, verification and validation to
ensure success. Safety observations are reviewed regularly by a steering committee comprised of senior
management, corporate safety managers, operations managers, line supervisors and members of our
workforce in an equal-input atmosphere. This committee reviews all safety observation reports; insures
that necessary preventative and corrective actions are implemented; identifies areas requiring new
and/or more specific training; analyzes and charts trends; and communicates activities to the workforce.
We are hazard identification specialists who Assess, Analyze and Act to achieve incident-free operations
through effective safety stewardship.
